The latest update for KESSv2 provides the following improvements:
New protocol 260 (CUMMINS – BOMBARDIER TRACTOR RECON CM554 CAN) introduced
Service Pack 23 issued in Italian, English, French and Spanish, which adds new operating manuals
New protocol 261 (BOOTLOADER BOSCH TRICORE DDE8) introduced, dedicated to BMW/Mini vehicles equipped with DDE8 engines.
This protocol works in a similar way to 226 (BOSCH BOOTLOADER TRICORE MEDC17), except that prior to reading the car in boot mode you need to connect to the OBD connector to acquire the data of the vehicle. Only then you can disassemble the ECU and perform the usual operations of the bootloader tricore. The help that appears after selecting the family contains detailed instructions on how to use this protocol.
