Will a Remap Cure Running Faults ?
My car has started running badly, will a tune up cure it?
Modern engines don't go off tune.
They can develop faults of course, such as a failed sensor sending an incorrect signal to the ECU, resulting in poor running under certain conditions.
If your car has faults that show up in the ECU error logs they should be fixed before performing a remap.
Before remapping we will run free diagnostic checks on your engine & advise you of any relevant errors that should first be fixed.
Professional remapping will fix flat spots that are there as part of the manufacturers software, not necessarily faults, & not due to defective parts, but certainly less than optimum settings.
